David the Great | 2 Samuel 12 | 10:00 AM Service
What happens when hidden sin is finally brought into the light? In this message, we continue looking at the life of David and see how God used the prophet Nathan to lovingly but directly confront David’s sin. David had tried to move forward as if everything was hidden, but God loved him too much to leave him in guilt, shame, and cover-up.
Through 2 Samuel 12, we are reminded that confession does not excuse sin, but it does open the door to forgiveness, mercy, and restoration. David’s failure was great, but God’s grace was greater. His story teaches us how to respond when we are confronted with sin—not with excuses, denial, or pride, but with humility, confession, and repentance.
This message also challenges believers to restore others gently when they wander from the truth, pointing them back to God’s grace and forgiveness.
